A catch-all mailbox receives emails sent to non-existent addresses under the same domain. For example, an email sent to the miswritten suport@domain.com will go to support@domain.com in case the catch-all feature has been activated for the latter. Thus, you can get email messages from buddies or customers who may have sent a message to your email address with a typo or to an out-of-date one, which they may still have, but you have already disabled. Just one single mailbox per domain name can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be activated for such a mailbox. This is so because of the fact that at some point you may start receiving spam messages in the catch-all mailbox and the forwarding restriction means that the spam will not be re-sent to a 3rd-party mailbox.

Catch-all Emails in Cloud Hosting

Setting up a catch-all e-mailbox will be pretty easy in case you have a Linux cloud hosting with our company. You can activate this option through our advanced, albeit intuitive Email Manager tool, which is an indivisible part of the Hepsia hosting Control Panel, via which you’ll administer the web hosting account itself. You will see all the email addresses that you’ve created listed in alphabetical order and next to each of them there will be a small-size "Catch-all" icon, which will quickly tell you if a specific mailbox receives all the email messages associated with a given domain or not. With one single click on the icon you can activate or deactivate this option whenever you wish. In case there is activated email forwarding or in case another mailbox has already been set up as a catch-all one for a certain domain, you’ll receive a warning from our system. The latter will not deactivate/replace anything automatically or without your approval.

Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Hosting

You’ll be able to create a catch-all address with no more than a click in case you’ve got a semi-dedicated hosting with our company and your email messages are handled by our cloud platform. All the mailboxes that you create with any domain name hosted in the account will be displayed in the Email Manager section of your Hepsia hosting Control Panel. Each of them will have a tiny "Catch-all" icon next to it, so all it will take to enable this feature will be to click on that icon. In the same manner you’ll be able to disable the feature, if you don’t need it any longer. Our system will warn you in case you’re attempting to activate a 2nd catch-all mailbox for a certain domain name or in case there’s activated email forwarding, but it will never deactivate or change any feature automatically or without your approval.
